Understand the essential domain, DNS, and SSL checks every website should pass before a public launch.
Your domain is the front door of the launch. If DNS or SSL is misconfigured, even a polished site can look broken to first-time visitors.
Check DNS Records Early
Confirm the A, CNAME, MX, TXT, and verification records required by your host, email provider, and analytics tools. DNS changes can take time, so make them before the final hour.
Force The Right Redirects
Pick one canonical version of the site, such as https://deploylaunch.com, and redirect the other versions to it. Consistent redirects help users, analytics, and search engines see one primary site.
Validate SSL Everywhere
A valid certificate should cover the root domain and common subdomains. Test private windows, mobile networks, and key pages so browser warnings do not appear during launch.
DNS and SSL are quiet when they work and painful when they do not. Put them near the top of the launch checklist and verify them before the public announcement.
